Experience technology, education and design – YXE style. Just a few more sleeps until we get elevated! Thanks to our generous sponsors and many hardworking volunteers, tickets are nearly sold out and we’ve got an exciting schedule lined up.

Here is the information you, as an attendee, need to maximize your day:

  1. How do I get there?
The Persephone Theatre is located at 100 Spadina Crescent in Saskatoon. You can get directions here.
As we are all too familiar with, parking is at a premium downtown. We recommend two feet and a heartbeat, biking, carpooling or using public transportation to get to the Persephone Theatre. If you do have to drive, nearby parking lots include the Farmers’ Market and Toys R Us.
  2. When should I arrive?
Our day is jammed-packed. Plan to arrive on-time at 8:45am for registration with your ticket, and our lovely volunteers will issue your name badge. Head on into the lobby and grab some morning treats before settling into theatre. Elevating tip: There is a bonus for the first folks to arrive.
  3. What should I wear?
The event is informal, so casual or business casual.
  4. What should I bring?
Get ready for great ideas and fascinating stories! You might consider bringing a pen and notepaper. Or perhaps you want to share your thoughts with the world using the hashtag #TEDxSaskatoon. In this case, ensure your device is fully charged.
  5. What about sustenance?
No need to bring anything except perhaps a water bottle. We’ll have snacks and beverages at morning and afternoon breaks, as well as an on-site lunch.
  6. How can I help?
As mentioned, we couldn’t have planned this event without our sponsors. Thank you for taking the time to thank them – in person or online.
